Forum Re-arrangement

Postbyadmin»Sun Nov 18, 2012 8:11 am

Hello Uppers,

How are you and your Up! doing?:D

You may have noticed that we are rearranging the forum during the weekend. We are sorry for the inconvenience that it may have caused. The re-arrangement will last for a while until we are done transferring the posts from the old forum into the new ones.

Lots of Uppers have suggested us to re-arrange the forum to avoid confusion and difficulty in locating topics. It should have done long time ago. We are sorry for the delay.

The new forum will have Community Place, where Uppers can discuss techniques of Up!, share tips, show-off prints, buy and sell services, and for new Uppers to ask questions and get helps from the fellow Uppers; Support place, where you can post the problems that you have with Up! to our technical people, who will do their best to resolve issues; also, Up! User Group, where local Uppers can get togther either discussing issues online, or even schedule some meetings face to face.

World is flat, and we are here because of Up!. We hope Uppers can have fun, meet good people and share their happiness here, which is one of the goals that Delta Micro Factory always has.

We are far from perfect, and some Uppers are not happy with the products they received. But, please be assured, we are working hard to improve our products, and technical people are always ready to help.

Lastly, please start posting on the new forum. If you are looking for the old posts, please scroll down to the lower part of the page. You can find the old forum there untouched.

We will lock the old forum on Thursday 10am Beijing Time, after which time you can not post anything on the old forum anymore. All the topics will be moved to the new forum, under proper category.

If you have questions or suggestions, please always feel free to contact us.

Happy printing.

I'm surprised that the new forum arrangement does not include dedicated sections for:

1) Bug Reports

and

2) Feature Requests

Respectfully,
Julia

看起来帅呆了!另一个建议是雷莫ve the common search word limitation. The system thinks words like "raft" are too common...which makes it difficult to search 3d printing specific things. There are other words too...I just don't remember them off hand.:)

Hello Julia,

Thank you for your suggestion.

Do you think posting bug reports and feature requests under Support is ok?

Dear Joseph,

Ah, I guess I didn't look closely at the "Support" section, or else you added the notes about posting with [BUG REPORT] or [FEATURE REQUEST] in the subject after my comment:)Yes, I think this is a good way to handle it if users know that this is the procedure.

Thanks and best regards,
Julia
