Automatic Platform Calibration

A groundbreaking and time-saving feature, the UP Plus 2 was the first 3D printer in its class with an automatic platform calibration system. A probe’s sensor checks nine different points on the build surface for irregularities. If there is variation from one point to another, compensation settings are automatically entered into UP Studio.

Automatic Nozzle Height

Not only does the Plus 2 automatically calibrate platform level, it also automatically calibrates nozzle height. You don’t have to measure it yourself. The Plus 2’s electronic sensor will find it and enter it into UP Studio for you.

Print job removal and print surface cleaning are easy with the UP Plus 2. Simply snap the platform latches to secure and remove the print surface. Starting a new print is as easy as switching surfaces. You can remove the model and clean the previous surface after starting your next print job.
